Heya! Another century week has passed and AS USUAL I'm lazy to blog about things. Hahah. But anyways, I just had my ME TIME earlier @ Dermcare Dasmarinas. I availed their Diamond Power Peel (DPP) and added a Seaweed Mask. The attendant said that the Seaweed Mask will help dry up pimples/acne problem so I didn't hesitate to avail of it 'coz lately my cheeks were breaking out like totally crazy.


Over the last few weeks I've been reading blogs and other sites about the Diamond Peel treatment, how it is done, after effects, benefits, etc. I found out that it helps in removing acne marks and some type of acne, reveal a polished and brighter skin, remove dead skin cells and so on. Finally, I decided to get it done. Yeah, bring it on!

If I'm not mistaken, the Dermcare in SM Marketmall Dasmarinas is the newest branch so I decided to have it done there (for the fact that it's the nearest one to my location). Upon entering I smelled something great (but made me drowsy and want to sleep on their SUPER COMFY sofa), I believe it was some kind of mint, peppermint, whatsoever that so relaxing to the senses. I gave them 10 points for this inside my mind.
The petite front desk personnel greeted me with a warm smile and asked me what treatment will I get and she asked me to fill out an information sheet. Instantly after that I was pointed to go to the treatment room. No waiting time! I love it! Another 10 points. :D

I lied at the recliner after laying my belongings to the side and the attendant (I forgot her name. Stupid me) wrapped a turban like thing to keep my hair away from my face. She cleaned my face first with this pad to remove my makeup and the treatment started with a forehead massage with some cold cream and she steamed my face for about 15 mins. (an estimated time, I dunno exactly how long it was)

And after that the extracting thing happened. Yeah, I cried. It was painful especially on the nose part and sides of my cheeks but the attendant was very generous to wipe my tears away and she placed something (that I dunno 'coz my eyes are closed) cool on the pricked part to lessen the pain. She had this 'light hand' I must say because she is very gentle but I'm a crybaby so I tend to cry on the littlest pain ever. Hahahah. XD

After the pricking and extracting of my zits there was these set of hand held devices that seemed to polish my face and close my pores blabla and the diamond tipped thingy that she ran across my face. She asked me whether I would like to add a mask and she willingly explained to me all that they have and said that she recommends the Seaweed Mask. Being a little frugal now, 'coz my pockets were burned by the 900php DPP, I asked how much and she said that it's 150php. As fast as thunder, I mentally asked myself if it's worth it and effective. I decided to give it a try and so I said yes. After a while the DPP was finished and she stood from her stool and got this gauze thingy and placed it on my face. I came from the 12 B.C. so I was wondering "Why is there a gauze thing on my face? WTH?!", of course I just told that to myself inside my mind. LOL

After some weird thoughts going through my head she sat down again and brushed my 'gauzed face' with this green mixture. I told myself again "Ah, ok so this gauze was for the mask silly.". She said that it will be removed after 15mins.

The Seaweed-ized me. :D


As the clock ticked in my head the mask seemed to harden but not really hard as clay. I almost felt asleep because of the relaxing instrumental tune playing on their radio.

15 mins had passed and the attendant carefully peeled off the gauze taking off the mask on my face. I was like "Ooohh, I thought this was a rinse off mask", of course that was in my mind again making me a complete cave girl from the 12 B.C. She wiped of the residue with a wet towel and polished my skin again with her hand held device.

The treatment was finished (took almost 75mins) and I was like OMG the results was AWESOME!!!!

Yep there is redness and marks as expected because of the extraction but no worries they will be gone after 3-7 days.

OMG my skin was like bright and alive without makeup! I was really impressed. Thank you Dermcare SM Marketmall Dasmarinas!
