| Celeteque Acne Solutions Haul
Finals week, oh finals week. Why are you depriving me sleep? LOL.Not enough sleep + stress + period = MAJOR, MAJOR Breakouts!! Eek!!!!! I really panicked when I notice that new pimples are sprouting and they are many! Almost enough to cover my cheeks. They also invaded my forehead. :( I decided to get a different acne clearing set, which I will share to you in this post, because I think that I'm kind of immune to my previous acne medication which is the Etude House AC Pink Powder Spot Treatment. There's no harm in trying right? >.< I got this Celeteque Acne Solutions Line that I've been eyeing a long time, even before I got the EH Pink Powder. There are 5 products in the line as shown in the pic below. (credits to Celeteque)
(L-R: Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizer Gel, Acne Cleansing Gel, Back Acne Spray, Oil Control Toner, Acne Spot Corrector Gel)
I only got 3 items out of the 5 because: 1.) I have another facial wash for treating acne and 2.) I don't have back acne. XD
(L-R: Oil Control Toner, Acne Spot Corrector Gel, Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizer Gel)
"Removes stubborn dirt for normal to oily skin, and preps it for moisturizing. It has ALOE VERA AND CHAMOMILE EXTRACTS that help soothe the skin while removing the last traces of stubborn dirt."
My thoughts: I haven't used a toner for quite a long time (last was the Krave Minerale's Anti Zit Splash) so I decided to give this one a try. I was attracted to the Aloe Vera which claims to soothe my skin. It stings a bit but it's tolerable, as for me. I cannot judge if it's really a good toner 'coz I'm not an expert when it comes to toners. Haha! Price was great too, for its 65ml content. --- Acne Spot Corrector Gel with Hydroxy Acids 5ml (169php)
"Corrects acne imperfections within 24 hours. Uses BETA HYDROXY ACID (BHA) combined with POLY HYDROXY ACID (PHA) which aids in exfoliating dead skin cells and helps in diminishing pimples and other acne imperfections. Contains Lilac leaf cell culture extract that helps reduce sebum production to prevent future acne breakouts. There is significant acne reduction by as much as 80% in just one day."
Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Alcohol Denat., Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Polyacrylamide, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Gluconolactone, Salicylic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate, Laureth 7, Farnesol, Maltodextrin, Methylparaben, Sodium hydroxide, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea tree) leaf oil, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch hazel) water, Disodium EDTA, Hamamelis viginiana (Witch hazel) extract, Sodium Metabisulfate, Syringa vulgaris (Lilac) leaf cell culture extract, Linalool, Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse chestnut) seed extract, Faex (Yeast) extract, Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Panthenol, Zinc Gluconate, Ethylparaben, Caffeine, Propylparaben, Biotin
My thoughts: On the first time I tried this out I was like 'was it empty? none is coming out! I think I had a defective product!' but after a few times of brutal squeezing a nearly clear gel came out and I was like 'thank goodness!'. The 5ml content was a big turn off for me because I believe its soooo unfair for its price. But when I applied it on my trouble spots I realized that just a little goes a long way. One tip is that you need to store this standing so you won't get pissed when squeezing the next time. --- Acne Clearing Facial Moisturizer Gel 50ml (335php) "Moisturizes acne-prone skin. Contains ACNACIDOL BG to help reduce sebum secretion in acne-prone skin. Also has FRENCH SPRING WATER for significant smoothening and moisturization of the skin." Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sea Water (Maris Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Ethoxydiglycol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Salicylic Acid, Maltooligosyl Glucoside, Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hydroxide, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Disodium EDTA, Aloe barbadensis Leaf Juice, Maltodextrin, 1,10-Decanediol, 10-Hydroxydecanoic Acid, Sebacic Acid My thoughts: I ran out of moisturizer so I decided to get this one. The truth is I was eyeing this for a long time. Haha. When first applied it made my face redder than ever but after a few minutes it calms down. That's the only downside I can think about this product. And one more thing, its a little sticky on your fingers so don't forget to wash your hands after (and before applying the product on your face, of course) to eliminate the sticky feel. But don't worry it's not sticky on the face. So that's basically it, thank you for reading! :) (P.S. I need to review for 2 more exams tomorrow then, hello sembreak!) *credits to celetequedermoscience.com for the description and ingredient list Labels: acne solutions, celeteque, haul |
